Semi rant after the jump (As usual)
Taps bolt with hammer, hears ping of what the lower L arm is supposed to bolt to go flying off its welds. FUCK
And I know the pick n pull will charge out the ass on top of being 70 miles away. No money to buy a new one is almost a given and I have a few small obligations for the money that I do have. All on top of other personal shit that is being messed up by not being mobile.
Its home territory, torn apart and broken.

Getting it welded back together isn’t an option? It doesn’t look rusty to my New Englander eyes.

No that isnt a jack point but there is nowhere else to put those if I say.. Jack the car up from the proper point. And i cant weld the part back on because it is inside of the subframe

Its the nut on the inside of the sebframe that broke off.

I’m having issues visualizing this still, but couldn’t you cut a hole in the subframe weld the nut back on and then close the subframe back up?

Technically it could be done but Id have to pay somebody to do it, I also think the subframe is cracked ( make loud metal against metal noise click under some circumstaces) so a different subframe is in order.

could probably bring the subframe to somebody out of the car and have it all patched up for less than a junkyard subframe that will probably have the same cracking and issues. It’s in a junkyard for a reason... that being said sometimes you get lucky and find a gem.

Turns out the junkyard subframe is $100 so imma go that route when possible. I’m 80% sure my subframe is already cracked. Plus I dont want holes in what is basically my lower frame for the front.

At least on my 2000 accord there was a centre jack point in the front and back.
